Job Description:

- Prepare patient forms ahead of their scheduledappointments for easy access when

they arrive

- Greeting clients and patients in a professional manner asthey enter and leave the clinic

- Checking in patients as they arrive for appointments.

- Answering multi-line telephone, scheduling appointmentsand taking accurate

messages

- Checking emails/texts and replying to clients'emails/texts in a timely manner

- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment andhelping other staff members

when needed

- Proper record keeping, accurately entering patient andclient information into Clinic

HQ software

- Fax/scan/email records to referring veterinarians asrequested

- Attaching scanned documents into correspondingpatients' chart

- Closing at the end of the day

- Checking out clients and processing payments and printinginvoices

- Must be able to work Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.

 

Experience and Skills:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a scheduler/receptionistfor a busy veterinary or

medical practice

- Minimum of High School diploma or GED

- Knowledge of veterinary clinic procedures andterminologies

- Physical fitness to carryout physical activities

- Computer skills, Microsoft office (Word, Excel), Adobe,email

- Ability to relate with customers in a friendly andprofessional manner

- Ability to multitask

- Excellent phone etiquette

- Exceptional organizational skills

- Must communicate and work well in a team / group setting

- Spanish speaking a plus

- Pay based on experience
