Naming Opportunities

We absolutely love our new clinic and are so grateful for the support from Donors and the community who made our dream come true. Now that we have settled in and have been doing surgeries for some time we find there are a few things that would help us meet our targets and expand our impact.

Safety and Security

48KW Kohler Standby Generator – with a 500-gallon fuel tank

$35,000
Usually when we hear one of us mention “heat” we are talking about one of the pups. But when July and August rolls around we are talking about the weather. Storm season isn’t fun for any of us here in Florida, but at ARC we are particularly concerned about power outages. We don’t want to be stuck doing surgery by flashlight. And we don’t want our kennels to overheat while the “clients” are recovering. A generator is something we dream about.

Perimeter Fencing - Approximately 300 linear feet

$7,000
Our transport program has us on the road each week picking up and dropping off our clients. We would like to provide additional security for our clients by fencing in the rear of the clinic so we can take the pups for a quick walk before they board the transport and head home to their family. Having a fenced in area will give us some extra security on those days when we have an escape artist visiting.

Capacity

Shoreline Kennels – 4-foot Stainless Steel Cage – Mobile Platform

$1,850
When we book appointments one of the first questions we ask is how much does your pet weigh? This is because we have different sized kennels that we use to house our “clients” before and after surgery. Now most of us have a decent idea of what our pets weigh, but how many of us know how tall our dog is? A 40-pound dog may arrive and be too tall to be comfortable in a smaller kennel. And while a pup might be small enough to fit into a higher kennel, they might weigh too much for our technicians to safely move them in and out. We need some additional kennels to give us more flexibility when dealing with larger or heavier pets.
