Sarasota County provides funding for low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for those residents who qualify for Food Stamps, SSI, SSDI, WIC, Medicaid or Free School Lunch program. When making an appointment, please upload legal proof of participation in any of these programs. The discounted rate will be price-adjusted by ARC staff. If you qualify for the program, you will be responsible for a $25 payment and additional fees for rabies vaccinations (if required) and the cost of the county tag.
Manatee County provides funding for low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for those residents who qualify for Food Stamps, WIC, or Medicaid. When making an appointment, please upload legal proof of participation in any of these programs. The discounted rate will be price-adjusted by ARC staff. Manatee requires that you bring photo-id with current address, ideally in the form of a driver’s license.
We’re making it even easier for Florida pet owners to access affordable preventive care with $25 spay/neuter surgeries — available to those earning less than $75,000 per year. To qualify, attach the first page of your 1040 tax form or Proof of Social Security Disability benefits, and a photo ID (driver’s license or other valid ID). The address on your ID must match the one on your appointment form.
If you are an active duty service member or veteran of the United States military, you will receive 10% off spay/neuter surgery. Please provide a driver’s license with the “Veteran” designation or discharge documentation (DD-214) to receive this discount. If you also have a disability rating from the Veteran’s Administration, please bring your rating letter which provides proof of the percentage of disability. Veterans with a disability rating of 10-49% receive 20% off spay/neuter surgery. Veterans with a disability rating of 50-100% receive 50% off spay/neuter surgery.
